1. 🚀 Async Performance & Optimization

Performance is our #1 priority. TopLeaderboard performs all database queries, score calculations, and player lookups asynchronously. This means zero lag spikes on your main thread, even if you have thousands of players in your database.

• True Folia Support: Built natively on Folia's region-based scheduler, not bolted on — every task runs on the correct thread automatically.
• Smart Caching: Leaderboards are cached in memory and only refreshed at your configured interval, so opening the GUI never hits the database directly.

Click any player's head on a leaderboard — or run /stats [player] — to open a full breakdown of their stats and rank in every category at once, complete with their real in-game skin rendered on their head.

• SQLite (default): Zero setup, fast local storage — works out of the box.
• MySQL: Point it at your existing database server if you already centralize server data there.
• Built-in Migration Tool: Switch anytime with one command: /leaderboard migrate . Supports SQLite, MySQL, and YAML in any direction.

7. 🌐 Cross-Server Sync with Redis (New in v3.0)

Running multiple servers behind a proxy like Velocity or BungeeCord? Point them at the same Redis instance and they'll automatically combine into one shared, real-time leaderboard across your entire network. Completely optional — leave it disabled and nothing changes for single-server setups.

8. 🎨 100% Customizable

Every message, item name, lore line, inventory title, and material is editable in config.yml.

• Hex Colors: Full support for &#RRGGBB color codes.
• Layout Control: Move items to any slot you want.

Pull leaderboard data into any other plugin that supports PlaceholderAPI — scoreboards, chat, tab lists, and more.

• %topleaderboard_name__% — the name of the player at a given rank.
• %topleaderboard_score__% — that player's score.
• Example: %topleaderboard_name_kills_1% shows your #1 player by kills.

📜 Commands

• /leaderboard (aliases: /top, /topleaderboard) - Opens the main menu.
• /leaderboard - Directly opens a specific leaderboard (e.g., /leaderboard kills).
• /leaderboard reload - Reloads the configuration file instantly.
• /leaderboard debug - Toggles debug mode for administrators.
• /leaderboard migrate - Migrates stored data between sqlite, mysql, and yaml.
• /stats [player] (alias: /playerstats) - View your own or another player's full stat breakdown.

🔑 Permissions

• topleaderboard.use - Allows players to open the leaderboard and stats GUI (Default: Everyone).
• topleaderboard.admin - Allows access to reload, debug, and migration commands (Default: OP).
