Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and BuiltByBharat. Please read them before you use the site.

1. Who we are and what you agree to

BuiltByBharat (“we”, “us”) runs an online marketplace where independent creators publish digital resources for Minecraft, such as plugins, server setups, configurations, Discord bots and artwork. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. Creators also agree to the Creator Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18, or use the site with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms for you. You must give accurate information, keep your password secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. How the marketplace works

  • Products are created and sold by independent creators. We are the platform, not the author of their products.
  • We review new products and updates before they go live, but a review is not a guarantee of quality, safety or fitness for your server.
  • Prices are shown in Indian rupees (₹). Taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout.
  • Product pages describe what each product does and which Minecraft versions it supports. Please check them before you buy.

4. Buying and licences

When you buy a product you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own servers, communities or projects, unless the product page says otherwise. You may not resell, redistribute, leak or share the files, or claim them as your own. The creator keeps ownership of their product. All sales are final; see the Refund Policy.

5. Content you upload

You own what you upload. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, copy and deliver it for the purpose of running the marketplace, including showing previews of a product to visitors. You promise that you have the rights to everything you upload and that it does not break the law or anyone else’s rights.

6. Server listings and votes

Anyone with an account can list a Minecraft server they run, after proving it is theirs. The owner is responsible for the server, its rules, what happens on it and everything in its listing. A listing is not an endorsement: we do not run, check or guarantee listed servers, and you join them at your own risk. Player counts, status and uptime are measured automatically and may be wrong.

  • One vote per server per day per account (and per internet connection). Votes reset at midnight India time.
  • Buying, selling, automating or faking votes, or rewarding players in a way that breaks the game's rules, is not allowed and can get a listing removed.
  • Listings must not deceive players, impersonate other servers, or point at a server you do not run.
  • We may hide servers that stay offline, and remove listings that break these terms, with the reason sent to the owner.
  • Featured boosts are paid placements, labelled Sponsored. They don't change votes or rankings. When every Featured slot is taken a boost is queued and starts when one frees up; the confirmed dates are emailed after payment. Boosts are non-refundable. If we remove a server for breaking these terms, its boost is paused, not refunded, and resumes with the time it had left if the server is restored. A boost on a server its owner deletes is lost.
  • Vote rewards: if a server uses Votifier or our vote API, we send it your Minecraft username, the time of your vote and your internet address, so it can reward you. Rewards are given by the server, not by us.

7. What is not allowed

  • Malware, hidden backdoors, data-stealing code or anything designed to harm a server or player.
  • Content you do not have the right to sell, including cracked, leaked or copied work.
  • Content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or that targets children.
  • Fake reviews, impersonation, or misleading product descriptions.
  • Scraping the site, probing it for weaknesses, overloading it, or trying to get around its limits or security.
  • Using the site to break any law that applies to you.

8. Copyright and takedown requests

If you believe a product on the site infringes your copyright or other rights, email us at the address in section 13 with: who you are, what you own, where the infringing product is (its web address), why you believe it infringes, and a statement that your complaint is accurate. We will review it, may remove the product while we do, and may share your complaint with the creator.

9. Our right to act

We may reject or remove a product, suspend or close an account, or refuse service if someone breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we will explain why. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft

BuiltByBharat is an independent site. “Minecraft” is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB and Microsoft. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them.

11. Our responsibility to you

The site and the products on it are provided “as is”. We do not promise the site will always be available or error-free, or that a product will suit your needs. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or data loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

12. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and if a change is significant we will tell you on the site or by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in India have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
